How refunds work
Whether you can get a refund - and how much - depends on the cancellation policy of the property, airline, or rental provider you booked with. This policy is shown on your booking confirmation and in your booking history.
- Refundable bookings can usually be cancelled for a full refund up to the provider's deadline.
- Non-refundable bookings may not be eligible for any refund once confirmed.
- Free cancellation labels mean you can cancel without a fee within the stated window.
How to request a refund
- Sign in and open the booking in your booking history.
- Choose the trip you want to cancel and review its cancellation policy.
- Contact our support team to start the cancellation. We will confirm the refund amount before processing.
- Once cancelled, the refund is returned to the original payment method.
If you paid by card, the refund goes back to the same card. Refunds can never be sent to a different payment method than the one used at checkout.
How long refunds take
After your cancellation is confirmed, refunds are generally issued within 5-10 business days. How fast the money appears in your account depends on your bank or card issuer - most debit and credit cards post the refund within that window.
- Credit/debit card: usually 5-10 business days.
- Bank processing times vary and can be longer during holidays.
- If a refund has not arrived after 15 business days, contact us with your booking reference.
